Hon. Congressman Neptali A. Gonzales II, House Representative of the Lone District of the City of Mandaluyong, was the guest of honor and speaker of this year’s GSCS Commencement Exercises last March 28—30, 2012.

Cong. Gonzales stressed Winston Churchill’s message “Never give up” and challenged the graduates to
pursue excellence in their career and character.

29th Preparatory Commencement Exercises

The 29th Preparatory Commencement Exercises was held on March 28, 2012.
Pastor Erwin S. Pelayo inspired the graduates, along with their respective parents and teachers through hismessage during the baccalaureate service. Rev. Pacifico A. Sardido Jr., UCGS Administrative Pastor, gave his charge to the graduating kids.

For the graduation ceremonies, Mrs. Evelyn C. Rosete, Pre-School Department coordinator, presented the
graduates and Mrs. Delna C. Moralita, principal, confirmed their graduation and distributed the certificates.
47 pre-school pupils graduated and were promoted to grade 1.
Brianne Paolo M. Austria, first honors, and Jane Simon Theodore P. Fabros, second honors, delivered their
valedictory and salutatory addresses, respectively.

25th Elementary Commencement Exercises

The 25th Elementary Commencement Exercises was conducted March 39, 2012.
Pastor Erickson M. Velardo was the guest speaker of the baccalaureate service which was held to
commemorate and give thanks to the Lord for the milestone of the graduates.
Hon. Congressman Neptali M. Gonzales II, guest speaker, motivated the graduates and their parents to do
greater things.

Ms. Maribeth A. Cachero, VI-Genesis adviser, presented the candidates for graduation. Mrs. Moralita
confirmed their graduation. The GSCS Board of Trustees and school officials distributed the certificates to
the graduates.

A total of 113 pupils graduated from grade 6.
Kimberllee S. Lardizabal, first honors, and Carla Maridith D. Afuang, second honors, delivered their
valedictory and salutatory addresses, respectively.
Rev. Pacifico A. Sardido Jr. concluded the ceremony in prayer.

9th High School Commencement Exercises

Congressman Gonzales also graced the 9th graduation ceremonies of GSCS High School Department. He
inspired the graduates to do their best to become good citizens and leaders of the nation.
Mrs. Rosalia D. Sardido, High School Coordinator, presented the candidates for graduation to Mrs. Delna C.
Moralita who validated their graduation.

62 students graduated from high school this year.
Dustinne F. Umadac, valedictorian and Marriane Jasmine V. Leyva, salutatorian, delivered their valedictory
and salutatory addresses, respectively.

Meanwhile Rev. Eulogio C. Cabillan , guest speaker for the high school baccalaureate service, reminded the graduating students not only to struggle hard for their dreams but also to lead a righteous life.
