JS Prom & Candle Garland 2012

Masquerade was the theme of the JS Prom which was held last February 24, 2012 at Kaban ng Hiyas,
Mandaluyong City

The event started with the  entrance of the juniors and seniors and their respective partners,  with their
masks on.

Rev. Pacifico A. Sardido  Jr., led the opening prayer, followed by the national anthem led by Mr. Edward
Mesina. Mrs. Delna C. Moralita, principal,  gave an inspirational remarks for everyone. Dustinne Umadac, representing the seniors, turned over the Torch of Learning  to the juniors through Keziah

Valentina Rivera, Supreme Student Government (SSG) president bequeathed the  Key of Responsibility to the
juniors represented by Julian Victor Dupaya, SSG Vice-President.

Hannah Krisha Tongco read the Seniors class prophecy.The seniors and juniors presented their Blue Danube.
A special video was also prepared by the teachers for the juniors and seniors. Gabriel Paulo Evora and Marian Uy were chosen Prince and Princess of the Night, respectively.

The King and Queen of the Night were Miguel Raymundo and Ria Mongoso, respectively. After the awarding,
Mr. Francis Gepolane led the closing prayer for the first part of the program.

The 3rd year dance group Kinetix heated the floor for the final part of the program—dancing the night away.

Candle Garland 2012

The Candle Garland 2012 was held at the GSCS Quadrangle last February 24, 2012, participated in by the
grade 5 and 6 pupils.
The exchanging of Candle and Garland was performed with speeches  Patricia Tanya Eugenio, Myles Radaza,
Nala Cindrei Encabo, Ken Bernard Daza, Andrea Rutaquio and Philip Mikhail Field.

There were three formal dances presented, Waltz, Cha Cha and Swing.

The best in Waltz were Patricia Masilang with  her partner Joshua Rei Abundo and Ann Britney Agner and
partner Ezekiel Custodio.

The pairs Nala Cindrei Encabo and Benett Bautista  and Sam Frederick Dividina and Aira Sangco, won best in
Cha Cha.

Best in Swing were Jessazel Lim with Joshua Osalvo and Levitha Villar with Rafael  Arcangel. Mheldain Tibudan and Ann Britney Agner  were hailed Prince and Princess of the Night, respectively. Meanwhile,  the King and Queen of the Night were Joshua Osalvo and  Levitha Joy Villar, respectively
